Tasting notes for Blackadder Bruichladdich 7 year old 1993/2000

Blackadder bottling, 43% a.b.v

Cidery, appley nose, with a bit of clove and a whiff of light lemony peat. The palate is dry with Middle Eastern spices, Lemonheads candies, isopropanol, dry smoke, a bit of grass. The finish is calmingly smoky, slightly citric, with a bit of old cigarette ash. Similar to the 1982 13 y.o. Hart Brothers Port Ellen. If you can find it, it’s only about $40, and well worth it.

Suggested for: Any time
