Tasting notes for Port Ellen 16 year old 1980/1997, Signatory

Signatory bottling, 59.3% a.b.v

A lovely nose with meadow notes and bosc pear. With water, black raspberry emerges. The palate is a bit rough; this new bottle needs to breathe, at which point I will post more complete notes.
