Tasting notes for Glen Deveron 12 year old 1987

Distillery bottling, 43% a.b.v.

Very light and floral nose, light freshly cut apple, apple cider just beginning to go bad. Palate is nice with a soft mouthfeel, showing moderate peat as well as grass, light tar, and graphite pencil. Finish is quick, creamy, and slightly bitter, reminiscent of dark ale.

Suggested for: Aperitif
